"Remembering the Light"

Published on 20 September 2025 at 20:31

At birth: excitement braided with fear.
We pass through a dark corridor and somewhere beyond the hush there is light —
our people waiting to greet us, to lead us.
So it begins.

We learn by watching, by listening.
Before words arrive, we speak in sounds and gestures — vibrations that travel and are heard.
Belief systems line us up; innocence slips away.
And so we travel the dark path. It becomes a race against time.

We never truly know the road or the perfect way to walk it; we only know we must keep going.
Not everyone chooses the path, and some never get the choice.
Still, life keeps a divide — in the self, in family, at every corner and state —
a design that keeps us small and fearful to move, fearful to know who we really are.

But the journey, like the womb, returns us to a place of light.
You are light. Remember who you were before life stole your innocence:
free, bright, unguarded. That brightness is what drowns the dark.
Remain quiet and still, and the darkness moves at will. Speak, move, shine — and it recedes.

God is in you and all around you — waiting for you to remember.
Be the light of the day and the light of the night.
Where light is, there is no need for fear — no need for the choke of stress, anxiety, anger, or despair.
Everything works toward the good in you. Hardness is working for your good.
You are chosen. You are favored. You are everything you dream.

Believe again. Create like you’ve never created before.
God loves you. I love you.
