Let’s just be real.
A lot of people don’t love you—they use you.
They keep you around because you're convenient, helpful, or healing to them.
But the second you set a boundary, prioritize your peace, or stop feeding their needs?
They disappear. Or worse, they make you feel guilty for finally choosing you.
And you know what?
That’s not your problem.
That’s their exposure.
🧍🏾♂️ People Love You When They Benefit—Not When You Break Free
Everybody’s “for you” as long as your shine doesn’t threaten their shadows.
People will pretend to support your purpose—until it doesn’t serve their comfort.
Until it confronts their laziness.
Until it reminds them they’re not doing the work within themselves.
Then all of a sudden, you’re “too much.”
“Too spiritual.”
“Acting different.”
“Too focused.”
Nah—you’re just growing, and they’re stuck.
And instead of growing with you, they’d rather tear you down.
Let’s call it what it is:
People are afraid of being left behind, so they try to drag you back into the pit they’re too scared to climb out of.
📦 Don’t Let Their Fear Become Your Cage
There are energies, spirits, and systems out here that are designed to keep you boxed in.
Boxed by guilt.
Boxed by old roles.
Boxed by the version of you they can control.
Boxed by your own doubt.
But if you don’t break that box, you’ll spend your whole life being available to people who were never really for you—just for your benefits.
“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people?”
—Galatians 1:10
You were never made to be liked by everyone.
You were made to move different, to shake atmospheres, to break cycles.
But that requires uncomfortable truth:
Some people in your life only want you small.
🚫 Judgment Doesn’t Make Them Better
The same people who secretly envy you will judge you like they’ve been living right.
But judgment doesn’t make them holy.
It just makes them loud.
And insecure.
They’ll pick apart your walk but ignore their own mess.
They’ll question your decisions, but don’t even have a vision for their own life.
And somehow, you end up feeling bad for evolving.
Let me tell you something:
They don’t have the final say over your life.
They’re not your judge, your source, or your god.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
—Romans 3:23
Stop letting people who aren’t even free tell you how to live your life.
💭 Why Do We Keep Repeating the Same Cycles?
Because people are comfortable in their pain.
Because comfort zones feel safer than calling.
Because cycles are predictable—but creation requires responsibility.
We’ve been programmed to repeat.
Repeat trauma.
Repeat silence.
Repeat religion without revelation.
Repeat hustle with no healing.
But that’s not living.
That’s surviving in a loop you were never meant to stay in.
Life is creation.
And every day you wake up, you’re either building something new—or repeating something dead.
🔥 Your Light is a Threat—Shine Anyway
People will try to dim your light because they’re scared of their own darkness.
But that’s not your fight.
Your fight is to keep showing up, even when you’re tired.
Even when it’s quiet.
Even when you feel overlooked.
Believe anyway.
Not because it’s easy.
But because the vision God gave you was never supposed to make sense to people who aren’t assigned to it.
That dream?
That idea?
That healing?
It’s not waiting for the right crowd.
It’s waiting for your yes.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
—Matthew 5:16
🛑 Final Word: Don’t Be Boxed
This world will try to define you.
People will try to confine you.
Spirits will try to drain you.
But God called you to create, not conform.
So don’t fold.
Don’t dim.
Don’t play small.
You’re not too much.
You’re just finally becoming who they never thought you had the courage to be.
